Object photography at Culture House

Located in Shephard’s Bush, London W12 Culture House asked me to photograph their extensive collections of Somali culture over a number of days. They have some great artefacts and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting & working with the curators.

Textile photography at Birmingham Museums Trust

Always challenging to light and ‘stitch’ shoot long, narrow items whilst retaining high resolution. This was the task at Birmingham Museums’ Collection Centre when I was commissioned to photograph their African textile collection. The quality of the Fujifilm GFX100s camera and it’s prime lenses was a real help. And great to work in the huge Midlands Collection Centre again!
