Venice Biennale Danza 2024
My third year involved with the Biennale Danza festival in Venice over a busy 3 weeks. Our job was to create cinematic, multi camera films of the performances. Often in low light, with constant movement and awkward access. These are challenging shoots from a technical point of view. Lots of editing afterwards as well!
'Deepstaria' in Montpelier
Myself and colleagues from Italy filmed the contemporary dance piece ‘Deepstaria’ on behalf of Studio Wayne McGregor. A short trip, we had little time to prep’ cameras & establish shooting positions (during a busy festival of dance) that would give us the shots we needed. The results were great however and the final film was very well received by the client. And a beautiful city!
